Coffee Plantation

Visit a local organic coffee plantation and learn the process it takes to make coffee from plant to cup.  Located in a Meru village, you will see how having a diversity of vegetation on the plantation creates symbiosis.  Then you will take the coffee beans through the shell removing process, roasting, and preparation in the local manner.  After your coffee you will enjoy a local lunch.  There is also the opportunity to tour the local Meru village, visit Lake Duluti or take a local pottery lesson.
