Moshi Sugar Plantation Bike Tour

Ride through the 10,000 square kilometer sugar plantations that take up a large portion of Moshi.  During your ride you will watch farmers go through the process of cultivating sugar from planting to harvesting to transporting the cane to refineries for processing.  The trail will take you by Kikavu River where its possible to see blue monkeys, baboons, vervet monkeys, and monitor lizards.  It is also possible to see the peaks of Kilimanjaro and the Blue Tanzanite Mountain during your ride.  The trail is mostly on flat land and is easy to navigate and is 12.5 miles (20 km), it typically takes 6 hours.  Lunch will take place at a local cantine.
