Karatu Region Stays

Bougainvillea Safari Lodge is located in Karatu.  This Lodge contains thirty-two cottages set throughout a lushly landscaped property. Ten rooms in five double cottages are located in a coffee garden. The rest of the rooms are located surrounding the pool area. Each cosy room has mosquito-netted king or twin beds, dressing area, a fireplace, large bathroom with shower and a veranda from which to enjoy the views of lush tropical gardens. Triples are possible with prior notice and two of the cottages can be used as family suites, with connecting rooms. The property has a full restaurant, bar, gardens, and a swimming pool, where you can order a masseuse poolside.

Kankari Lodge is located in Karatu.  This Lodge contains a choice of eight standard rooms (in four double cottages) or four luxury tents. All ensuite rooms/tents have two twin beds or one queen bed, a private verandah, writing desk and dressing area. All rooms have a fireplace. The property has a full restaurant, bar, gardens, and a swimming pool.

Martina's Retreat is located in Karatu.  Each each room offers a serene view of a quaint coffee plantation and the picturesque pastoral fields of neighboring farmsteads. The accommodations feature spacious bedrooms, each with a cozy fireplace and a private patio furnished with comfortable chairs, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the tranquil surroundings. Choose from either twin or king-size beds, with two family suites available that can accommodate extra beds for added flexibility. Some suites also offer the option to expand by connecting to adjoining rooms, making them ideal for larger families or groups. Each room is thoughtfully designed with crisp linen, fluffy towels, a writing desk, a reading chair, and ample luggage space to create a homely and inviting atmosphere.

Amenities include large walk-in showers, separate WCs, personal products in convenient pump jars, and hairdryers. For those moments when you crave a warm drink, each room is equipped with a small Tea/Coffee station, complemented by our delicious home-baked cookies.
